Texas Celery Seed French Dressing

1 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar                                     5/6 cup cider vinegar

2 ¼ tsp. salt                                                                             2/3 cup tomato catsup

2 tsp. paprika                                                                         1 small onion, chopped

1 tsp. dry mustard                                                                ¾ cup vegetable oil

2 tsp. celery seed                                                                 Small garlic clove

Put all the above in blender and mix thoroughly. Store in a covered container in refrigerator.
