Strawberry Tarts
Ingredients
1 pkg. pie crust mix, frozen tarts OR your own pie pastry
24 fresh strawberries, washed and hulled
1/3 cup red currant jelly, melted
1 ½ 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese, melted
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tbsp. milk
3 tbsp. sugar
Directions
Cut 2 ½ inch circles from pie crust. Fit into mini muffin pans. Bake 10 minutes at 425°.
Cool tarts. Mix cream cheese, nutmeg, milk and sugar together. Fill tart shells with cheese mixture, dip strawberries into jelly and place on top of tarts. Place in refrigerator until ready to serve. Makes 24 tarts. This is fun to do with the kids. Enjoy!
